Do you have pain?
Pain is nature’s warning
signal. It chimes when you are injured, but it also
sounds a warning when there are more serious
issues. Instead of learning what is causing the
pain in the first place, most people just deal with
it.
Why just dealing with pain is dangerous
If
you have a high pain tolerance, you just ignore the
pain. Others of you with lower tolerance try
different strategies to stop the pain. But all
these strategies do is mute the pain.
Are you ignoring your body's natural warning
signal?
When the seatbelt chime goes off you
don’t ignore it. You put your seat belt on. That’s
the smart thing to do. But when your body’s warning
chime goes off, you ignore it. You pop a few Advil
and go right back to what you were doing. That’s
like putting in ear plugs instead of putting your
seatbelt on.
Feeling lucky?
Some people go their whole
life without wearing a seatbelt and never get in an
accident. But we all know about others who weren’t
so lucky. If your body is warning that you are at
risk, shouldn’t you listen?
What's causing the alarm
Pain is your
body’s signal that your energy is blocked. This is
a potentially dangerous situation. When your energy
is blocked you are more vulnerable to serious
injury. And if an energy block is left untreated,
it can cause permanent damage.
