Lacrosse begins

Lacrosse season starts on Friday. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and we can get outside for our first practice. The weather up here in the Mohawk Valley is so different from Annapolis where I learned the game. At Hamilton, the first several weeks of practice tend to be indoors which leaves us hamstrung. It's hard to simulate a game played on a 120 yard field in the elements in a 40 yard field house with artificial lighting. But who cares! Spring is around the corner and with a little grit and elbow grease, we'll make another run at the national championship.
